Treatment Design 1.0 - iterations

Design Iterations i

The initial workflow allowed any segmentation technician to work on any given case. However, at the outset of the concept development phase, the Segmentation Department revised their workflow. Consequently, we had to modify the layout to accommodate and support their new process.

The initial design closely resembled their third-party solution, as we aimed to minimize the transitional burden when moving to our in-house solution.

We quickly recognized the need for a more effective solution.

Design Iterations II

Based on user feedback from the initial formative study, we implemented enhanced search functionality and added sortable and filterable columns to the Dashboard to improve usability and streamline the user experience.

During the evaluation of the product, users suggested simplifying the Data Review process for CT scan parameters. Specifically, they recommended using a caret (^) icon to access additional information, allowing for a more streamlined and less cluttered interface. This change would enable users to quickly review essential parameters while providing an intuitive way to expand and view more detailed data only when needed. This feedback was implemented to enhance the overall user experience by reducing cognitive load and improving the efficiency of the Data Review process.
