As Lead Product Designer, I led the unification of Proscia's design system across two products, significantly reducing inconsistencies in both the user experience and visual design. This approach streamlined the design and development processes by standardizing components, interactions, and UI elements. As a result, both design and engineering teams could reuse pre-built elements across products, reducing the need for custom development for each feature.
This system not only enhanced the user experience by ensuring a cohesive look and feel across platforms but also shortened concept-to-development cycles. By reusing standardized components, we reduced software development time by approximately 40%. The time saved allowed the teams to focus more on innovation and quality improvements, accelerating product iterations and enabling faster delivery to market.
